Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply between the holder of a Belgrade Card (“customer”) and City Card d.o.o Beograd regarding purchase and use of a Belgrade Card.

The Belgrade Card is sold by City Card d.o.o. Beograd (“City Card”), Bregalnička 11, 11000 Belgrade, Registration No. 21465038. City Card d.o.o. may be contacted by email at info@belgradecard.rs. When purchasing a Belgrade Card, the customer accepts the following terms and conditions:

  1. About the “Belgrade Card”

With a Belgrade Card, the customer can freely access selected museums in the Belgrade area (“attractions”) where deemed as Free listed on the Belgrade Card website www.belgradecard.rs. Also, the Belgrade Card will provide special discounts and deals to specially selected restaurants, shops, Café bars and other city attraction spots or services for the convenience of customers.

Each Belgrade Card purchased through the www.belgradecard.rs website needs to be added to the Belgrade Card mobile app.

Belgrade Card works through a scan barcode system, which allows the customer to visit attractions and receive benefits for the period of time (24, 48 or 72 hours) depending on the selection done by the customer when purchasing the Belgrade Card.

Before exercising a deal with a partner attraction, a valid Belgrade Card must be presented, scanned and validated by the partner attraction application.

If the partner attraction validation application does not work, and is not able to validate the Belgrade Card, the attraction partner must provide to the customer the benefit offer listed on the Belgrade Card website www.belgradecard.rs, provided that the customer has a valid Belgrade Card.

Each Belgrade Card may be used once for each attraction during the period of validity of the Card.

  1. Validity

The Belgrade Card has a validity period of 6 (six) months from the purchase date and cannot be terminated.

If the Belgrade Card is not activated within 6 (six) months from the purchase date, the Card can no longer be used.

The Belgrade Card is activated the first time it is validated by an attraction partner, and can be used for the number of hours selected during the purchase process and specified on the Belgrade Card.

The Belgrade Card allows the customer to redeem the benefits of the partner attractions listed on the Belgrade Card website at the time of use.

The Belgrade Card, including the unique barcode, is also delivered electronically to the customer’s email in PDF format.

  1. Rights and requirements

The card can be used in the name of the person the card is issued to. The name is shown in the Belgrade Card 

The customer accepts that visits to attractions are voluntary and completely at one’s own risk.

The customer cannot claim damages for not being allowed to enter an attraction if it is closed during the use period of the Card.

The customer cannot claim damages for failure to use the possibilities of the Belgrade Card during the use period for the Card.

City Card cannot be held liable for any circumstances related to an attraction partner service provider that renders visiting the attraction difficult or impossible, including accessibility, opening hours and amended opening hours.

City Card cannot be held liable for any security related problems or for damage to persons or property arising during the customer’s visit to the attraction partner service provider included in the Belgrade Card.

City Card is not liable for traffic or the weather, which may affect the customer’s possibility of visiting or using an included attraction.

Any complaints must be directed directly to the relevant attraction during the visit or immediately after the end of the visit.

Belgrade Card is a bearer digital ticket voucher, which the customer must store carefully. City Card does NOT pay compensation for or offer repayment of lost or stolen phone or paper form of Belgrade Card.

In the event, that Belgrade Card attraction partner cannot offer you immediate services due to the availability of the premise, City Card is not liable for any inconvenience caused by the occupancy.

In case of any complaints regarding purchase of the Card, the customer must be able to contact City Card directly through email info@belgradecard.rs.

  1. Payment and delivery

The customer can use the payment methods specified during the online purchase process. The purchase can only be completed with a valid credit card.

All prices will be shown during the purchase process, before payment is made. Prices are specified in local currency, Serbian Dinar (RSD) and approximate Euro (€) amount. The holder of a credit card is liable for any additional cost such as exchange rate conversion fee or any other banking payment transaction fee from the bearer. 

All payments will be effected in Serbian currency – dinar (RSD). The amount your credit card account will be charged for is obtained through the conversion of the price in Euro into Serbian dinar according to the current exchange rate of the Serbian National Bank. When charging your credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations. As a result of this conversion there is a possibility of a slight difference from the original price stated in our web site.

The Belgrade Card is delivered electronically to the email address provided by the customer and may then be displayed on the customer’s mobile phone in the Belgrade Card mobile application whenever the customer wants to use it.

The customer is responsible for providing the correct email address during the payment process.

After making the payment, the customer will be presented with the payment confirmation page specifying all details about the purchase. Same information will be sent to the email address provided during the payment process.

City Card will additionally send an email with the final invoice. The invoice cannot be used as a card.

The customer is responsible for the customer’s mobile phone functions during the entire validity period of the Belgrade Card, in order to allow for a proper scan of the Belgrade Card. 

  1. Right of cancellation and refund

The cancellation period is fourteen (14) days after the date of purchase. If the customer requests to cancel a purchase, he or she must contact City Card by email info@belgradecard.rs before the end of the cancellation period and give notice of such request for cancellation in a clear statement. 

If the purchase has been cancelled before expiry of the cancellation period, City Card  will refund all payments received from the customer, including any delivery costs, without undue delay and in any event no later than thirty (30) days from the date when City Card  received notice of the customer’s decision to cancel the purchase. Refunds will be made with the same payment method used by the customer in the initial transaction.

In case it is required to return the funds of the collected funds to the customer, in full or partially, regardless of the reason for the return, www.BelgradeCard.rs (operated by City Card d.o.o. Beograd) shall return the funds exclusively through VISA, EC/MC and Maestro method of payment, which means that the Chip Card/Bank will refund requested amount to the customer’s account, following a request of the Merchant.

The right of cancellation will lapse when the customer activates Belgrade Card or the validity date indicated on the ticket starts; 

A refund of the purchase price or exchange of an online ticket is excluded. If the online ticket is not used or is lost, City Card will not replace it or refund the purchase price.

  1. Processing of personal data

On behalf of Belgrade Card (operated by City Card d.o.o. Beograd) we undertake to safeguard the privacy of all our customers. We collect only required, basic data on customers/users and the data needed for operations and informing customers in accordance with good business practice and to provide good quality service. We enable our customers to opt if them want or not to be removed from the mailing list used for the purpose of marketing campaign. All the data on the users/customers are kept strictly confidential and are available only for employees that find these data necessary for operations. All employees Belgrade Card (operated by City Card d.o.o Beograd)  and business partners are responsible for observing the principles of privacy protection.

  1. Miscellaneous

The purpose of the website www.belgradecard.rs is to sell the “Belgrade Card”.

Questions regarding the customer’s purchase of the Belgrade Card and any complaints can be sent by email to info@belgradecard.rs. City Card endeavors to confirm receipt within 1-3 weekdays and to reply within thirty (30) days.

If the customer and City Card cannot reach an agreement, the customer may submit a complaint to the Serbian Consumer Complaints Board, the responsible Serbian jurisdiction.  

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Serbian law. If the customer resides outside Serbia rules regarding consumer protection in the country of residence will not apply.

These Terms and Conditions have been updated on August 30th 2022 and apply to all purchases made from this date.
